Master of Divinity (M.Div.)

Purpose
The Master of Divinity is a fundamental degree program designed to prepare those who are clearly called to serve the Lord, and have committed their lives to full-time ministry to serve in local churches, mission fields, or para-church organizations.  Students must complete the program requirement and practice in order to be prepared for conducting effective service. 

Goals
The M.Div. program is a fundamental degree program that is required by most recognized denominations for ordination of pastorate.  It is also the degree requirement for admission to Doctor of Ministry program and other higher level of theological study programs.  Graduates in this program are expected to achieve the following:

1. Strong personal spiritual life and character.
2. Advanced knowledge of Biblical, theological, and church history studies with whole concept of ministry skills.
3. Ability of ministering and leadership to serve professionally in different ministry areas.    

Asian American Ministry Concentration
1.  To grasp the background and development of Asian American Ministry for serving effectively among Asian American groups.
2.  To develop the ability to shepherd Asian American groups and to build the bridges between first and second generation of Chinese groups.

Master of Art in Christian Studies (M.A.C.S.)

Purpose
The Master of Arts in Christian Studies program is designed to prepare those who are committed to go into full-time or part-time ministries in local churches, mission fields or para-church organizations.  Students must fulfill all program requirements in order to be ready for service in the ministry. 

Goals 
The M.A.C.S. program is the basic qualification of some full-time service position.  It is also the fundamental degree requirement for pursuing higher level of theological education.   Students are expected to achieve the following:

1. Strong personal spiritual life and character.
2. Basic understanding of Biblical, theological studies with basic concept of ministry skills.
3. Ability of serving professionally and effectively in different ministry areas.

Asian American Ministry Concentration
1.  To grasp the background and development of Asian American Ministry for serving effectively among Asian American groups.
2.  To develop the ability to shepherd Asian American groups and to build the bridges between first and second generation of Chinese people.
